WHAT AGE RANGES DOES SAN ANTONIO SWIFT TRAIN?

Swift coaches are knowledgeable on diverse youth training techniques for ages 5-18. 

WHAT LEVEL OF ATHLETE DOES SWIFT TRAIN?

We train athlete who are beginners all the way to those that are top in the nation. Whether you're just learning to run or compete at the highest level we're the team for you. At Swift we understand that all athletes have varying talents. We pride ourselves on working with your individual athlete to bring out their greatest potential. Through specific workouts we grow your athletes ability both physically and mentally. 

HOW LONG ARE YOUR SEASONS (I.E. TRACK, CROSS COUNTRY AND OFFSEASON)

San Antonio Swift is a full service running club offering Track (Mar - July) Cross Country (Sept- Dec) and Offseason training (Oct - Feb).

HOW MUCH DOES SWIFT REGISTRATION COST?

Swift registration differs between track & field, cross country, offseason and 1-on-1 training. While we keep it affordable we provide quality uniforms and experiences.  Current season prices can be found on the registration tab.

WHAT IS THE SWIFT TRAINING PHILOSOPHY?

At Swift we pride ourselves on training all our athletes to maximize their potential with safe and age appropriate training methods. We train Junior Olympic National youth medalist, youth athletes that want to improve on their craft for local competition and those that just want to train to improve footwork, speed and agility for other sports. We watch the progress of ALL kids not just a select few. Come train with some of THE BEST in the nation. The best version of your athlete starts San Antonio Swift.

DOES SWIFT OFFER 1-ON-1 TRAINING?

In addition to our running programs, many of our athletes will choose to enhance their training through 1-on-1 training in a variety of events including, running, jumps, hurdles, etc. Our knowledgeable coaching staff can put a program together to give that extra boost in results. HOW CAN I FINANCIALLY SUPPORT SAN ANTONIO SWIFT?

San Antonio Swift is a nonprofit organization. Each financial donation provided is a taxable benefit to the donor. We are able to support our families and offer scholarships/amenities through generous donations from local and national organizations. Please consider partnering with us.

WHAT IS THE SWIFT PRACTICE APPROACH?

​The SWIFT training approach is broken down into distinct event sections purposed to provide key training in body mechanics, strength, speed & agility and event specific training in a effort to prepare for the upcoming competition season. Each training group has an associated testing day to provide evidence of athletic progress. The purpose of event groups training is to ensure athletes are prepared for the correct events and not placed in a one-size fits all program.

HOW MANY DAYS PER WEEK DO ATHLETES TRAIN?

During the offseason we train between 1-2 days a week, with home workouts provided. During the season we train M, T, & Th. This schedule is flexible and works around the athletes schedule.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ATHLETES TO COMPETE FOR THEIR SCHOOL AND SWIFT?

Many of our athletes compete for both their middle/high school and our club. We pride ourselves on working with the school, coach and athlete to determine the best course of action with school partnership being our #1 priority.

ARE ATHLETES ABLE TO CHOOSE WHAT EVENT(S) THEY COMPETE IN?

Athletes work closely with the coaching staff to determine the best events that will bring success to the athletes.
